HIDDEN LAKES TREKKING
PARK INFORMATION
Among the environments of Perito Moreno National Park, the steppe, shrubs and coirón grasslands dominate the landscape in which lagoons have formed. In the magnificent forests, the lenga is the main tree species that adopts different forms depending on the height of the mountain ranges in which it grows. While species such as guanacos, rhea, black-necked swans, geese, flamingos, condors and huemul deer partly illustrate an extensive list of protected fauna.
The perfect setting for adventurers, observers and photography lovers is complemented by an extraordinary abundance and variety of aquatic environments that include deep and shallow lakes, rivers, streams and marshlands. The glacial origin of these lakes causes the intense colors which make each waterbody unique.
